POLICE

* Westminster: An employee of Caldor in Cranberry Mall reported to city police that someone stole items valued at $31 from the store Thursday.

An employee of Luskin's in the 140 Village Shopping Center told city police that a Sony Mini Watchman was stolen from the store Wednesday. The loss was estimated at $300.

A West Main Street resident reported that someone broke into his automobile and stole items valued at $370 while the car was parked near his home Wednesday.

A resident of Alymer Court told police someone broke a rear window of her car while it was parked near her house Wednesday. The damage was estimated at $285.

An employee of Hughes Trash Removal Co. told city police that a large trash container was taken from the rear of a building in the 100 block of E. Main St. on Tuesday. The value of the container was unknown.

FIRE

* Reese: Reese and Gamber firefighters responded for an alarm sounding in a building on Baltimore Boulevard at 3:58 p.m. Friday. Units were out for 20 minutes.
