Siena ends Loyola run with 69-62 win

ASHEVILLE, N.C — LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. -- Liz Lops' 6-0 scoring run with less than four minutes remaining led Siena to a 69-62 victory over visiting Loyola yesterday.

The loss pushed second-place Loyola (9-9, 6-2) 1 1/2 games behind Siena (16-2, 7-0) in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.

The loss ended Loyola's six-game winning streak -- the second-longest in school history.

?3 Loyola's Patty Stoffey led all scorers with 32.
