Frostburg wins on late shot, 64-62

NORTH EAST — FROSTBURG -- Sophomore guard Damon Stevenson's three-point shot from the right corner with one second left lifted Frostburg State (12-5) to a 64-62 win over Chowan College (7-12) yesterday.

Derick Spence and Tyrone Tyson each scored 17 for Lincoln.

F & M 69, J. Hopkins 68

Dave Janetta scored a game-high 21 points and made a free throw with six seconds left to lift Franklin & Marshall (19-1). Michael Rotay led Johns Hopkins (15-5) with a season-high 15.

Dickinson 72, Western Md. 63

CARLISLE, Pa.

CARLISLE, Pa.-- Brian Harper scored 17 points to lead Dickinson (11-9, 5-4) over Western Maryland (7-13, 3-7) in a Centennial Conference game.

Junior forward Andy Dziengeleski paced Western Maryland with 17 points.

Goucher 94, St. Mary's 69

Junior forward Thurmond Toland scored a game-high 22 to lead host Goucher (9-9, 3-4) over St. Mary's (11-8, 5-3).
