Development group names Klein consultant

Jean F. Klein has been chosen as business location consultant for the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corp.

Her new responsibilities include providing information and assistances to businesses interested in locating in the county, managing the property clearinghouse data base, conducting site tours, and maintaining contacts with commercial site owners and brokers.

A 17-year veteran of Maryland Department of Economic and Employment Development, Ms. Klein was a senior industrial development representative in the Division of Business Development.

Annapolis Realtors honor sales workers

The Annapolis office of Weichert, Shannon & Luchs Realtors recently welcomed Carol Dodson and Phyllis Naditch as residential sales associates.

The company also recognized Janet Hannsz for total dollar volume, and Jerry Brice as top first-year licensee in the company's Prince George's County and Anne Arundel County region for the fourth quarter of 1993.

Weichert, Shannon & Luchs is the largest independent real estate company in the nation.

NASA specialist Jack noted in Basch book

Severn resident Robert F. Jack, the senior on-line systems specialist for NASA's Center for AeroSpace Information at BWI Airport, has been profiled in the book "Secrets of the Super Searchers," by Reva Basch, which details 23 of the world's top data base searchers.

Starting with NASA in 1985, Mr. Jack served as technical information services coordinator at NASA's Technology Applications Program at the University of Kentucky.

Duncan named director of rehabilitation

Betty Fontz Duncan has been appointed the director of rehabilitation at Meridian Healthcare Center at Spa Creek in Annapolis.

Ms. Duncan will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating rehabilitation programs for patients at Spa Creek, and will provide training and development programs for staff members.

A practicing physical therapist since 1977, she has worked in short- and long-term rehabilitation.
