ROBBERY: Northern District -- Two men who kept their hands in their jacket pockets as though armed robbed the Backstretch Saloon in the 1300 block of E. Cold Spring Lane of more than $100 Tuesday morning.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered the Mail & Packaging Depot in the 400 block of E. Belvedere Ave. Tuesday after breaking a glass door and stole more than $100.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone entered a house in the 800 block of W. Lombard St. through a basement window Tuesday and stole a VCR valued at nearly $300.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A resident of the 500 block of S. Gilmor St. was in the 1300 block of Ramsay St. Tuesday afternoon when a man knocked him to the pavement and robbed him of nearly $300.

BURGLARY: Western District -- An undisclosed sum of money was stolen from the Club Climax in the 2400 block of W. Baltimore St. Tuesday by someone who entered after damaging a door.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1400 block of Mountmor Court was walking near his home Tuesday when a woman robbed him of $40.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who robbed a resident of the 900 block of Franklin St. of more than $400 while she was in the 800 block of N. Fremont Ave. Tuesday.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Property valued at more than $100 was stolen from This Is It Hairstyles in the 1800 block of Walbrook Ave. between Sunday and Monday by someone who entered after breaking a window.

Baltimore County

SHOOTING: Woodlawn District -- Police were seeking two men in connection with the shooting late Tuesday night of a man outside his apartment building in the first block of Cedar Heights Court. Sgt. James E. Miller said the victim and his girlfriend were about to enter the building around 11 p.m. when two men, one with a handgun, approached them from the rear. Sgt. Miller said the woman was in the building lobby when the gunman fired at least two shots, hitting her boyfriend in the head and hand. The victim was later placed aboard a Med-evac helicopter and flown to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Following treatment, the man was released.

HARFORD COUNTY

STOLEN CAR: Aberdeen -- A 1978 Datsun with temporary Maryland tags 38708E was stolen from a parking lot in the 1900 block of Bennett Road Sunday.

VANDALISM: Bel Air -- Someone threw a chunk of ice at a garage in the 800 block of Flintlock Drive Sunday and broke a window, valued at $25.
