County purges 6,752 names from voter rolls

Anne Arundel County residents who were registered but have not voted at least once in the past five years have been removed from the rolls and must re-register.

The county's Board of Supervisors of Elections has removed 6,752 names from the registration list.

Anyone whose name has been removed must re-register to vote in the primary election on Sept. 13 and the general election on Nov. 8. Applications are available at:

* The election board office, 101 N. Crain Highway, Room 305, Glen Burnie.

* All Anne Arundel County libraries.

* U.S. Post Offices.

* Most banks and savings and loans.
