2nd-half defense helps Terps women rout Tech, 67-46

ATLANTA -- Maryland held Georgia Tech to five field goals in the second half yesterday and won the Atlantic Coast Conference women's game, 67-46.

Kesha Camper led the Terps (10-8, 5-4) with 19 points. Killian Purvis and Karon Ferguson each added 11 points.

The Yellow Jackets (8-9, 3-6) got a team-high 15 points from Kesha Keener. Kisha Ford (Bryn Mawr) added 11 points and three assists for Georgia Tech.

Maryland took a 38-34 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Georgia Tech scored only 12 points. The Tech starters went 14-for-36 for the game.

Maryland was out-rebounded 36-26, and Tech had 20 defensive rebounds.
