HCC production of 'Love Letters' set for Feb. 13

Howard Community College will present a production of "Love Letters" at 7 p.m. Feb. 13 in HCC's Smith Theatre.

Proceeds will benefit the HCC Educational Foundation, which provideds financial aid and educational services.

The play will be directed by HCC performing arts division Chairman Valerie Costantini.

County residents Kingdon and Mary Gould will star. From 1969 to 1972 and from 1973 to 1976, Mr. Gould served as U.S. ambassador in Luxembourg and The Hague. Mrs. Gould chaired the Howard County Public Health Service and currently serves as director of the Columbia Bank, which she founded. They also helped establish the Glenelg Country School.

The play is about two readers who trace a 50-year relationship through correspondence that began when the characters were in second grade.
