LORETTO, PA — LORETTO, Pa. -- Chris McGuthrie scored 17 points to lead Mount St. Mary's past St. Francis, Pa., 91-74, in a Northeast Conference game last night.

The Mountaineers also got 16 points from Michael Watson, 15 from Riley Inge and 14 from junior Sefton Robinson. The Mount (9-8, 6-4), without starting forward Jeff Balistrere (bruised calf), played the first half without 6-foot-11 freshman center Randy Edney, who strained his right knee in warm-ups.
