CARJACKING: Eastern District -- An unlicensed taxi driver was in the 600 block of N. Central Ave. Tuesday evening when two men got into his 1979 Lincoln and told him to drive them to the Bel Air Market. Near the destination, the men pulled out handguns, forced the victim from his car and drove off in it. The car, with Maryland tags ALM240, had not been recovered.

SHOOTING: Western District -- A 19-year-old resident of the 800 block of Harlem Ave. was involved in an altercation with another man in the 900 block of W. Saratoga St. Tuesday when a man approached and shot the victim in the hand and right shoulder. The victim was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center for treatment and released.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 300 block of S. Norris St. was in the 1300 block of W. Baltimore St. Monday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $10.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 1100 block of N. Carrollton Ave. through a rear window between Saturday and Monday and stole a set of dinner plates.

SHOOTING: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who shot a 20-year-old resident of the 1900 block of Riggs Ave. in the right thigh and right hip during an incident Monday in the 1900 block of Mosher St. The victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 2800 block of Harlem Ave. Monday and stole a VCR and a paycheck for nearly $400.

STOLEN CAR: Western District -- A 1992 Honda with Maryland tags WBH097 was stolen from the 2300 block of Arunah Ave. Monday or Tuesday.

ASSAULT: Northern District -- During an argument with two men over a traffic incident in the 3800 block of Falls Road Monday, a resident of the 4300 block of Newport Ave. was attacked and struck on the head with a lead pipe. The victim was not seriously injured and the two men escaped.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A wallet with $400 was stolen Monday by someone who entered a house in the 1100 block of W. 37th St.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY: Parkville District -- Someone entered an apartment in the 7900 block of Marfield Place between Saturday and Tuesday, but did not take any property.

ARSON TRY: Towson District -- Someone attempted to burn an apartment in the first block of Polaris Court Tuesday night by placing burning paper inside a wall. The fire caused minimal damage and no injuries were reported.
