BALTIMORE CITY

* THEFT: Northeastern District -- A known suspect entered a house in the 1600 block of Sherwood Road Monday and stole stereo equipment valued at more than $1,800.

* THEFT: Northeastern District -- Someone entered the main office of the Woodbourne Center Resident School in the 1300 block of Woodbourne Ave. between Friday and Monday and stole computer equipment, a printer and television, all valued at more than $1,000.

* ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Three men, one with a length of wood, robbed the Hillen Grocery in the 1900 block of E. 31st St. of more than $100 Monday.

* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Two TVs, tools and a videocassette recorder, valued at more than $900, were stolen from a house in the 5700 block of Radecke Ave. Monday.

* THEFT: Northeastern District -- Police were seeking a man who stole jewelry valued at $12,000 from the occupant of a house in the 4700 block of Schley Ave. Monday night.

* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone entered a garage in the 2500 block of Strathmore Road Saturday or Sunday and stole garden tools valued at $200.

* ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 3400 block of W. Caton Ave. was walking near her home Monday when a man with a sawed-off shotgun robbed her of $8.

* ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 3300 block of W. North Ave. of $8 in the 1900 block of N. Denison St. Monday.

* ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Three men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 800 block of Southbridge Road of $100 in the 3600 block of Edmondson Ave. Sunday.

* BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a city-owned warehouse in the 200 block of N. Franklintown Road between Friday and Monday. It was not immediately known if any property was taken.

* ROBBERY TRY: Southwestern District -- A man with a shotgun ordered an employee at Popeye's restaurant in the 4400 block of Edmondson Ave. to give him money from the cash register Monday. When the employee told the gunman she couldn't open the cash register, the man ran off.

* THEFT/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man accused of trying to leave the Super Pride market in the 2000 block of W. Lafayette Ave. Monday without paying for steaks valued at nearly $40.

* ASSAULT/ARRESTS: Western District -- A man and his girlfriend were arrested Monday and charged with assaulting each other during an altercation in their home in the 1300 block of N. Stricker St. Police said each was injured after being struck with various household objects. They were treated at an area hospital and released. Each was charged with aggravated assault.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a home in the 1700 block of Westwood Ave. through the roof Sunday or Monday and stole 10 cartons of cigarettes and coins.
