* Sykesville: Engines from Sykesville and Gamber responded to an alarm in the 6400 block of Ridge Road at 9:44 a.m. yesterday. They were out for 25 minutes.

Engines from Sykesville, Gamber, Winfield and West Friendship of Howard County responded for a building fire in the 7500 block of Main St., Sykesville, at 9:11 p.m. Sunday. Units were out for 48 minutes.

* Gamber: Firefighters from Gamber went to a house fire in the 1300 block of Nicodemus Road at 4:34 p.m. Sunday. They were out for 15 minutes.

Engines from the Gamber station responded for a Freon leak in a building in the 1900 block of Sulaine Court at 6:18 p.m. Saturday. They were out for an hour.
