2 gunmen rob Brooklyn Park service station

January 25, 1994

Two men who wore black ski masks and claimed to have guns robbed a Brooklyn Park gas station early yesterday, getting away with an undetermined amount of money, county police said.

The men walked into Chuck's Shell Station, at the corner of Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard and Route 170 about 1:50 a.m. and demanded money from the clerk, 40-year-old Estella F. Crowell, police said.

At first the clerk refused, but the men warned her that they were armed with guns, police said.

She then gave them the money from the station's cash register.
