* Pleasant Valley: Firefighters from Pleasant Valley responded for a broken water pipe in a building on John Owings Road at 7:22 p.m. Thursday. They were out for 42 minutes.

* Reese: Reese and Westminster firefighters responded to an alarm in a building on Industrial Park Road at 3:16 a.m. Friday. Units were out for 40 minutes.

* Union Mills: Pleasant Valley, Westminster and Kingsdale and ,, Littlestown of Adams County, Pa., responded to a chimney fire on Littlestown Pike at 9:28 a.m. Friday. Most units were released quickly, but one unit was on the scene for one hour, 43 minutes.

* Westminster: Westminster, Reese, Pleasant Valley and Manchester investigated a burning odor on Carroll Street at 8:55 a.m. Friday. Units were out for 65 minutes.

Westminster and Reese responded to a fire alarm on Railroad Avenue at 4:35 p.m. Friday. Units were out for 30 minutes.

Firefighters from Westminster and Reese were dispatched for a fire alarm sounding in a building on Crest Lane at 2:20 a.m. Friday. Units were out for 50 minutes.

The Westminster, Reese, Pleasant Valley and Manchester fire companies responded to an electrical fire in a building on Liberty Street in Westminster at 9:28 p.m. Thursday. Units were out for 46 minutes.
