CPR instructor recognized for his work

January 24, 1994

A Glen Burnie man was one of two instructors with the Office of Business and Employee Training (OBET) at Anne Arundel Community College who recently was recognized for outstanding performance in the classroom.

Earl Lowe received an award for instruction as the department's primary CPR instructor for the last five years. In that time he has certified nearly 4,500 people in the American Heart Association's CPR training program.

His award notes that Mr. Lowe "holds the distinction of being the only instructor who is not critiqued by students. His performance in the classroom is so consistently high that clients have waived the requirement for student critiques when he is the instructor."
