Cold shooting costs St. Mary's, 68-56

GETTYSBURG — YORK, Pa. -- Daniel Johnson scored 19 points and pulled down eight rebounds, leading York College to a 68-56 nonleague victory over St. Mary's yesterday.

Dean Gamber added 14 and five assists for York, which built a 30-20 halftime advantage on 14-for-28 shooting.

Michael Rudolph led St. Mary's with 11 points. Chris DeLisi added 10 and seven rebounds.

Washington 72, Gettysburg 71

GETTYSBURG -- Geoff Rupert scored 15 points to lead Washington past Gettysburg. Ben Harris and Charles Cummings each scored 14 points for Washington.

Lincoln 82, Salisbury State 81

Tyrone Tyson's driving layup with 17 seconds left in regulation lifted host Lincoln (12-4) past Salisbury State (5-10).

Casey Musick (Cardinal Gibbons) had 20 for Salisbury and Kyle Jefferson (Hammond) scored 18.

Hopkins 72, Muhlenberg 61

ALLENTOWN, Pa.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- Lou Sabad scored 19 points and had 10 rebounds, leading Johns Hopkins (13-3) past host Muhlenberg (7-9).

M. Washington 90, Goucher 7

Jamie Warren's 17 points led Mary Washington. David Clark (Catonsville) scored 25 points for Goucher.

W. Maryland 86, Haverford 72

Pat Young (Mount St. Joseph) and Rolando Welch scored 22 points each to lead Western Maryland (6-9, 3-3) past Haverford (7-10, 1-6) in a Centennial Conference game.
