Harford College's spring semester delayed by cold

January 23, 1994|By a Staff Correspondent

Last week's Siberian express temperatures put a freeze on Harford Community College's spring semester.

"The college has pushed everything back a week," said Fran Turcott, director of marketing and community relations at the college.

The school, which was closed last week because of the weather, is expected to reopen tomorrow, she said. Registration will be held tomorrow and Tuesday, and classes will begin Wednesday.

New student orientation is scheduled for Tuesday, Ms. Turcott said.

For more information, call the college at (410) 836-4000 or (410) 836-4322 for inclement weather announcements.
