* Albert J. Goodman, one of two lawyers for the Anne Arundel County Board of Education, said today he has submitted his resignation because "they never gave me any work to do." -- The Sun, Feb. 5, 1969.

* A large delegation of Anne Arundel County high school students came to a meeting of the county school board today to support proposed extra pay for teachers who perform additional duties. Teachers who coach athletics have already threatened to refuse to coach beginning this fall unless they receive extra pay. -- The Sun, Feb. 6, 1969.

* The Anne Arundel County Council passed a $15.5 million school-construction program which will result in the building of 13 new elementary schools and one secondary school and also authorized the issuance of bond anticipation notes and bonds to offset the cost. -- The Sun, Feb. 13, 1969.
