ROBBERY TRY: Central District -- A man with a 9mm handgun attempted to rob Pizza Movers in the 200 block of W. Read St. Monday night but fled when an employee reached under the counter and pointed his gun at the man.

THEFT: Central District -- Someone entered a vehicle parked in the 2500 block of Eutaw Place Monday and stole a compact disc player, 25 compact discs, two pairs of sunglasses, cassette tapes and a pair of gloves, all valued at nearly $600.

THEFT: Central District -- A brief case valued at $300 was stolen from a car parked in the 800 block of S. Sharp St. Monday or Tuesday.

SHOOTING: Eastern District -- Police were seeking a man who shot a resident of the 400 block of W. 23rd St. twice in the right arm Monday night during an incident in the 700 block of E. Monument St. The victim was listed in good condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A resident of the 1200 block of N. Broadway was in the 1200 block of N. Central Ave. Monday when three men, one with a handgun, robbed him of his money and jewelry.

ROBBERY: Eastern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 5900 block of The Alameda of $127 in the 1000 block of N. Washington St. Monday.

ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A resident of the 2200 block of Tucker Lane was in the 1500 block of E. Preston St. Monday when a man put a handgun to his side and robbed him of $30 and a set of keys.

SHOOTING: Southwestern District -- A resident of the first block of S. Payson St. was listed in good condition at Bon Secours Hospital after being shot in the foot Tuesday near his home. The gunman escaped.

STOLEN CAR: Southwestern District -- A 1987 Acura Legend with Maryland tags 564AVF was stolen from the 4500 block of Manordene Road Monday or Tuesday.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A 21-year-old resident of the 100 block of W. 39th St. was walking in the 500 block of W. University Parkway Tuesday when two men, one with a sawed-off shotgun, robbed him of his wallet and more than $50.

ROBBERY/ARREST: Northern District -- Police arrested one man and were seeking at least one other in connection with the abduction at gunpoint of a resident of the 400 block of Whitridge Ave. as she walked in the 2700 block of Greenmount Ave. Tuesday. When the car slowed down a short time later, the woman jumped out and called the police, who arrested one man not far from the scene.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A gunman robbed Tiber books in the first block of W. 25th St. Tuesday of more than $100.

BANK ROBBERY: Cockeysville District -- Two men robbed the Household Bank in the 1700 block of York Road Tuesday afternoon of an undisclosed sum. After entering the bank shortly after 2 p.m., one of the men gave a teller a note that read: "I have a gun. Give me $100s, $50s and $20s and no dye pack." The men escaped on foot.

STOLEN CAR: Cockeysville District -- A 1989 Chevrolet Caprice station wagon with Maryland tags WRB947 was stolen Tuesday from Charmuth Road.
