January 18, 1994

Two teen-agers were robbed of their athletic team jackets as they walked on New Cut Road in Severn early Sunday, county police said yesterday.

According to investigators, the two 16-year-old boys, whom police would not identify, were walking along New Cut Road near Gambrills Road about 1:19 a.m. when a dark-colored compact car pulled up beside them.

Three men got out of the car, said they had a gun and demanded the youth's jackets.

One of the assailants punched one teen-ager in the face and the other in the shoulder. One boy gave the men a Chicago Black Hawks jacket, the other a San Francisco Forty-Niner's jacket.

The robbers got back in the car and drove away, police said.
