Hopkins women win 3rd in row, 59-50

Amy Dodrill scored 21 points and had six assists, leading Johns Hopkins to its third straight win, 59-50 over Carnegie Mellon, in an University Athletic Association game yesterday.

Katie Shvartsman added 12 and three rebounds and Loni Leonard had 11 for Johns Hopkins (9-5, 4-4), which held Carnegie Mellon (6-6, 1-3) to 8-for-31 shooting in the first half.

Jeanine Megahan scored 12 points and had 15 rebounds to lead Carnegie Mellon.
