Hopkins wins 7th straight, 78-56

Frank Grzywacz scored a game-high 21 points and had seven rebounds, leading Johns Hopkins to its seventh consecutive victory, 78-56, over visiting Carnegie Mellon (5-7, 3-1) in a University Athletic Association game yesterday.

The Blue Jays' 7-1 league mark represents their best finish. They are 11-3 overall.

Luke Busby and Lou Sabad each added 16 points for Johns Hopkins, which led 39-21 at halftime. Sabad added seven rebounds.

Charlie Connor had 15 points and five rebounds to lead Carnegie Mellon.
