Art student creates model English cottage

January 17, 1994

North Carroll High School senior and art student Kim Bruckman recently created a model English thatched-roof cottage, complete with fence and pets, as part of an independent ceramics project.

Ms. Bruckman has taken numerous art classes through high school, culminating with the independent ceramics class. Her project included a wooden platform with dried mosses and flowers, a balsa picket fence and two textured cats and a dog.

Her next project is a 14-inch by 10-inch Victorian house with gingerbread-design accents.
