ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 4000 block of Sinclair Lane was in the 3000 block of Moravia Road Wednesday when a gunman robbed him of $20.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Someone entered a 1988 Volvo parked in the 1300 block of Pentwood Road Tuesday or Wednesday and stole a coat valued at $100.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A gunman robbed a Wendy's fast-food outlet in the 5600 block of York Road Wednesday night of more than $100 and escaped.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1993 Ford with Maryland tags 900APV was stolen from the 1400 block of Weldon Place Tuesday or Wednesday.

THEFT/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a woman who attempted to leave the Save Rite food store in the 1700 block of W. Baltimore St. Wednesday without paying for four cans of coffee valued at nearly $20. The woman was being held pending charges.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 1800 block of Riggs Ave. Tuesday and stole a multispeed mountain bike valued at nearly $170.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A man with a sawed-off rifle entered Bones' grocery store in the 1600 block of N. Smallwood St. Tuesday and stole three packs of cigarettes after firing a shot into the floor.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 4700 block of Bonniebrae Road was getting out of her car in the 1600 block of W. North Ave. Tuesday when a gunman robbed her of a $100 money order and $19 in cash.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who robbed a resident of the 1700 block of Franklin St. of his 1976 Oldsmobile with Maryland tags 770ARW in the 200 block of N. Gilmor St. Tuesday night.

STABBING: Western District -- A resident of the 2000 block of N. Fulton Ave. was arguing with a man she knows in the 1600 block of W. Lafayette Ave. Tuesday when the man stabbed the woman the right arm with a knife.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 1100 block of Ramblewood Road of $17 in the 1200 block of the Mondawmin Concourse Tuesday.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 600 block of Dundalk Ave. was in the 3800 block of Garrison Blvd. Wednesday afternoon when a man attempted to rob him. The incident was witnessed by a policeman who caught a suspect after a brief chase.

Baltimore County

SHOOTING: Cockeysville District -- A 15-year-old from the 900 block of Crosswind Place in Cockeysville was shot in the chest Wednesday night during an altercation with another youth outside the victim's home. About two hours after the 10 p.m. incident, police arrested a 16-year-old Cockeysville-area youth not far from the shooting scene and were holding him at the station pending charges and a consultation with the county prosecutor's office. After the shooting, the victim was taken by private car to the police station before being taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center . The victim was admitted and was listed in stable condition.

ROBBERY: Essex District -- A man was about to get on an MTA bus at Dayner Road and Eiffel Place Wednesday night when he implied he had a gun and ordered the 33-year-old bus driver to turn over his money. After the bus driver gave the man a black leather bag, the holdup man turned and walked away. The bag, police said, contained only tools and several bus schedules.
