BALTIMORE CITY

* ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1300 block of Winston Ave. was walking near her home Monday night when two men, one with a handgun, robbed her of a book bag, its contents and credit cards, all valued at $100.

* ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Three men, one with a razor, forced their way into a house in the 3100 block of Lawnview Ave. Monday afternoon and robbed the occupant of cash and property, all valued at nearly $800. During the incident, the victim was assaulted and cut.

* SHOOTING: Northeastern District -- Police were seeking two men who fired a handgun at a resident of the 4900 block of Goodnow Road Monday evening as he was about to enter his car, which was parked in front of his apartment. One bullet hit the victim in the right arm. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment and released. The men escaped.

* CHURCH BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Property valued at more than $300 was stolen from John Wesley United Methodist Church in the 3200 block of W. North Ave. between Friday and Monday by someone who entered through a side window.

* CHURCH BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered First John Tabernacle Baptist Church in the 2100 block of Ellamont St. through a side window between Sunday and Monday and stole property valued at nearly $500.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 2600 block of Quantico Ave. by breaking a window Monday and stole a coat and watch, all valued at more than $1,200.

* STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 17-foot truck owned by U-Haul in the 8600 block of Pulaski Highway was stolen Saturday from the first block of Cross Keys Road.

* ASSAULT/ARREST: Southeastern District -- Police arrested a 29-year-old cabdriver and were holding him at the station pending charges that he pointed a .44-caliber handgun at a resident of the 4200 block of Norfolk Ave. during an incident in the 4000 block of Eastern Ave. Monday.

* RAPE: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who raped a woman in a house in the 1300 block of N. Bentalou St. Sunday. The victim lives on Windsor Avenue.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1800 block of Kavanaugh St. was in the 2400 block of Pennsylvania Ave. Monday when a man robbed her of more than $200.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* BURGLARY: Towson District -- Someone entered a home in the 6700 block of Old Pimlico Road through a kitchen window Monday and stole a TV, VCR and cash.

* BURGLARY: White Marsh District -- Someone entered the Crown Shade Co. in the 700 block of Chesaco Ave. through a side wall between Jan. 7 and Jan. 10 and stole computer equipment and a fax machine, all valued at more than $6,000. The burglary was discovered by an employee reporting to work Monday morning.

* THEFT: White Marsh District -- A couple was arrested Monday when they tried to leave the Caldor department store at Golden Ring Mall in the 6400 block of Rossville Blvd. with a box containing clothing instead of the original product. Police said a 27-year-old man and his pregnant 22-year-old wife removed a child's car seat from its box and filled the box with clothing valued at more than $300 before sealing it shut. When the couple FTC tried to pay for the car seat, they were stopped by a security officer and held for county police.
