Outlook: Since returning last week, Loyola senior F Michael Reese has averaged 25.3 points and 9.3 rebounds in three games. He is shooting 57 percent from field. Junior F B. J. Pendleton (20.0 ppg, 8.0 rpg) is shooting 60 percent from field and 80 percent from the line. Freshman G Darius Johnson is averaging 12.8 ppg, 5.9 rpg and 4.1 apg. Navy's balanced offense is led by sophomore G Jim Hamilton (11.9 ppg). Junior G T. J. Hall (11.7 ppg) and junior F Wes Cooper (11.1 ppg, 6.5 rpg) are also averaging double figures in scoring. The Midshipmen lead the series, 16-3, including a 65-62 double-overtime win in Annapolis last season.

North Carolina A&T (1-6, 0-1) at Morgan State (2-8, 0-1)

Outlook: The Bears dropped their MEAC opener, 73-59, to South Carolina State on Saturday. Morgan had been coming off its best performance of the season, an 85-82 victory at George Mason. The Bears are led by sophomore F Gerald Jordan (13.1 ppg, 10.9 rpg). North Carolina A&T is coming off a 66-65 loss to Howard yesterday. The Aggies played without Jamaine Williams, their second-leading scorer, who was suspended for a violation of team rules.

Bethune-Cookman (1-9, 1-0) at UMES (5-5, 1-0)

Site: Tawes Gymnasium, Princess Anne

Time: 7:30

Outlook: The Hawks opened their MEAC schedule with a 63-49 victory over Florida A&M on Saturday. UMES is led by senior G Dale Harrison (14.1 ppg) and junior C Kenya Mobley (10.0 ppg, 7.2 rpg). Senior G Zach Allison is expected to be out for two more weeks with a groin injury. Bethune-Cookman got its first DTC win, 80-73, over Delaware State on Saturday. The Wildcats are led by LaTroy Strong, who scored 21 against Delaware State. Coach Tony Sheals is in his first full season at Bethune-Cookman.

St. Francis, Pa. (3-7, 2-2) at Mount St. Mary's (3-7, 0-3)

Site: Knott Arena, Emmitsburg

Outlook: The Mount has lost six straight, including its past two by a combined total of three points. Sophomore G Chris McGuthrie is averaging a team-high 20.1 points and 4.1 assists. Sophomore G Riley Inge is averaging 13.4 points and has scored in double figures in all seven of his games. He also is averaging a team-high 5.3 assists. Junior F Michael Watson (13.0 ppg, 8.5 rpg) has led the Mount in scoring in two of its past three games. St. Francis is led by junior F Deon George (17.5 ppg, 6.4 rpg) and senior F Chris Temming (16.4 ppg, 6.6 rpg). The Red Flash, which lost Saturday to Rider, 83-73, is 0-5 on the road.

Towson State (5-6, 0-1) at Liberty (4-4, 1-0)

Outlook: Saturday the Tigers suffered their worst defeat since 1987, an 82-58 loss to Radford in their Big South opener. Scooter Alexander is averaging a team-high 18 points but was held to nine against Radford. The Tigers swept the season series with Liberty last season. The Flames, who defeated UMBC, 89-79, on Saturday, are led by G Matt Hildebrand (15.6 ppg).

UMBC (1-7, 0-1) at Radford (7-3, 1-0)

Site: Dedmon Center, Radford, Va.

Radio: WOLB (1010 AM)

Outlook: The Retrievers' 89-79 loss to Liberty in their Big South opener on Saturday extended their losing streak to seven. Spencer Ferguson (14.3 ppg) and Skip Saunders (11.6 ppg) are UMBC's top scorers. C Sonique Nixon is academically ineligible for the rest of the season. Radford, which won at LSU on Dec. 30, is shooting 53.2 percent from the field. Led by Tryone Davis' 16 points, the Highlanders routed Towson State, 82-58, Saturday.
