1.Ryan Homes is holding a grand opening today for a new townhouse model at Goldenbrook, where the company has purchased the final section from Ducketts Lane Joint Venture.

Ryan will build 79 townhouses in Goldenbrook, where 500 homes have been built by several builders. The townhouses will be priced from the mid-$80,000s.

TC The townhouses will feature a two-story foyer, living room, dining room, 17-by-15-foot kitchen, one full bath and two or three bedrooms.

Major options include a finished English basement with family room ($3,700), study ($1,500) and full bath ($2,500).

2.Ryan Homes held a grand opening recently for the Rosemont, a two-story Colonial, which is one of six single-family houses the company is building at Russett in northwestern Anne Arundel County.

The standard Rosemont has 2,347 square feet of finished living space that includes four bedrooms, two full and one half-bath, a living room, dining room, study and 19-by-15 foot family room. The $222,900 price also includes a two-car garage and $l unfinished basement.

The Rosemont model at Russett includes such options as a two-story foyer, cooking island, master bath with soaking tub and separate shower, and finished 27-by-15-foot basement recreation room, which raise the price to the $280,000s.

Russett is on Route 198 at the Baltimore-Washington Parkway. The Rosemont model is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

The second floor has four bedrooms, laundry room, linen closet, master bath with sunken soaking tub and separate shower and walk-in closet in master bedroom. A two-car garage and an unfinished basement are included in the

$276,900 price.

The 1,700-square-foot Austin is the smallest home built at Foxridge. It is a two-story, end-unit townhouse with a brick front. Standard features include three bedrooms or two master suites with two full baths, a powder room, living room, dining room, recreation room, eat-in kitchen and hallway skylight. The price is $100,700.

The Bentley comes with 1,860 square feet on three finished levels for $109,050.

The Chase is a three-level home with 1,954 square feet. The living, dining, kitchen, powder and recreation rooms are on the first level. Bedrooms 2 and 3 and a full bath are on the second floor. The master bedroom suite occupies the top level. The cost is $112,450.

The largest home at Foxridge is the 1,961-square-foot Dalton end- of-group unit, which sells for $113,750.
