BALTIMORE CITY

* ROBBERY: Central District -- A resident of the 1500 block of Baker St. was in the 700 block of Linden Ave. early yesterday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of his leather jacket, pants, shoes and shirt.

* ROBBERY: Central District -- Four men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 900 block of W. Lexington St. Wednesday of a cake valued at $6 in the 500 block of Pennsylvania Ave.

* ROBBERY: Central District -- A resident of the 7400 block of Lesada Drive was in the 800 block of N. Howard St. Wednesday when two men who implied they were armed robbed him of a leather jacket and a gold ring, all valued at $700.

* ROBBERY: Northern District. A resident of the 6700 block of Harford Road was in the 500 block of Woodbourne Ave. Wednesday when a gunman robbed him of his wallet and nearly $140.

* ASSAULT: Northern District -- Police arrested a man who fired a blast from a sawed-off shotgun at a woman inside her home in the 5500 block of Craig Ave. Wednesday during an argument. The woman was not injured.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- A TV, VCR and a video game, value more than $800, were stolen from a house in the 2500 block of Keyworth Ave. Wednesday by someone who entered through a window.

* BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone entered an unlocked garage in the 200 block of E. Montgomery St. Wednesday and stole an air compressor, a radio and a red wagon. Police said the wagon was used to carry the property away.

* ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Two women, one from the 700 block of McKewin Ave. and the other from the 3800 block of The Alameda, were walking in the 1100 block of Chestnut Hill Ave. Wednesday night when two men, one with a shotgun, ordered them to the ground. The men then robbed one woman of cash and property worth more than $600 and the other woman of $40.

* ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1400 block of Gorsuch Ave. was walking near her home Wednesday night when a man stole her purse containing cash and property valued at $500.

* ROBBERY: Southern District -- Two men posing as city water inspectors entered a woman's home in the 100 block of N. Clement St. Wednesday. While one man distracted the occupant, the other entered a room, picked up a small safe and left. The second man followed a few minutes later. The men escaped with more than $100.
