Redistricting meeting rescheduled for tonight

Last night's scheduled meeting on the Howard County school redistricting process, canceled because of the weather, will be combined with tonight's meeting at Hammond High School, 8800 Guilford Road, Columbia, at 7:30 p.m.

The meeting will cover such topics as enrollment projections, redistricting possibilities and alternatives.

The combined meeting will cover these schools:

Northern and western parts of the county: Atholton, Centennial, Glenelg and Mount Hebron high schools; Burleigh Manor, Clarksville, Dunloggin, Glenwood, Mount View and Patapsco middle schools; and Bushy Park, Centennial Lane, Clarksville, Lisbon, Northfield, Pointers Run, St. John's Lane, Waverly and West Friendship elementary schools.

Northeastern and southeastern parts of the county, along with all of Columbia: Hammond, Howard, Oakland Mills and Wilde Lake high schools; Ellicott Mills, Hammond, Mayfield Woods, Patuxent Valley, Harper's Choice, Oakland Mills, Owen Brown and Wilde Lake middle schools; Atholton, Bryant Woods, Bollman Bridge, Clemens Crossing, Deep Run, Dasher Green, Elkridge, Jeffers Hill, Forest Ridge, Longfellow, Guilford, Phelps Luck, Hammond, Running Brook, Laurel Woods, Stevens Forest, Rockburn, Swansfield, Waterloo, Talbott Springs, Worthington and Thunder Hill elementary schools.
