* ASSAULT: Eastern District -- A resident of the 3800 block of W. Garrison Ave. was in the 300 block of E. 27th St. Sunday when he was attacked by several youths. After they fled, the victim was taken to Union Memorial Hospital, treated for minor injuries and released .

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A man in the 2300 block of Warwick Ave. Monday robbed a resident of the 1900 block of N. Bentalou St. of his wallet and more than $200.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- Police were seeking a suspect who entered a house in the 1600 block of Balmore Court last week and stole copper piping and fixtures valued at $5,000.

* THEFT: Western District -- While a resident of the 1800 block of Laurens St. was inside a store in the 1500 block of N. Monroe St. Monday, someone stole his mountain bike parked outside. The bike was valued at more than $100.

* ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A gunman robbed the Rite-Aid pharmacy at the Northwood Shopping Center in the 1500 block of Havenwood Road Monday of an undisclosed sum of money.

* ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1400 block of Filmore St. was in the 2700 block of Homewood Ave. Monday when two men robbed him of his coat and $50. The men drove off in a blue Nissan.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3700 block of Springdale Road was in the 3900 block of Chatham Road Monday afternoon when an older youth robbed him of his Buffalo Bills football starter jacket valued at $132.

* SHOOTING: Central District -- A resident of the 2400 block of Lakeview Ave. was outside his home late Monday night when a gunman fired at least two shots from a 9-mm semi-automatic handgun. Hit once in the side, the victim was taken to the Johns Hopkins Hospital where he is listed in good condition. The gunman escaped.


* CAR THEFT TRY/ARRESTS: Towson District -- Police arrested one adult and one juvenile as they and an unknown third person allegedly attempted to steal a 1991 Nissan Pathfinder at the Cromwell Valley Apartments in the first block of Airway Circle Monday night. The two were arrested after a foot chase when a resident reported seeing three males getting into the vehicle about midnight. Held on a charge of attempted auto theft was Angel Reyes, 28, of Hyattsville. A 17-year-old from Washington also was charged with attempted auto theft and was sent to the Charles H. Hickey Jr. School. The third person escaped.

* ABDUCTION/ROBBERY: North Point District -- A 34-year-old resident of the 7800 block of Lockwood Road was entering her car Monday afternoon at Diamond Point Road and Eastern Avenue when a man with a knife got into the passenger's seat and ordered her to drive off. Once in the city, he robbed the woman of her purse and more than $100 before fleeing the car at Eastern Avenue and Ponca Street. The woman was uninjured.
