January 04, 1994

A $500 reward is being offered for information about the armed robbery and shooting last month of a motorist stopped at a traffic light at West Street and Admiral Drive.

City police said Dawn Rochele Boger, 29, was westbound on West Street in her dark-blue Ford Escort hatchback about 2 a.m. Dec. 19, when a man armed with a pistol approached the driver's side and demanded money from her.

The woman gave the man her purse but, as she sped away, was struck in the back by one of several bullets fired at her car. She was treated for a minor wound at Anne Arundel Medical Center and released.

Police are looking for a black man in his 30s, missing a front tooth. At the time of the shooting, he was clean shaven and wearing a blue sweat shirt and blue jeans.

Police ask that anyone with information about this or any other crime, call Crime Solvers of Annapolis at 267-8888. The reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment of the person wanted for the offense. Callers are asked to refer to Crime Solvers case number 94-01.
