BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a city-owned house in the 200 block of N. Fremont Ave. Wednesday and stole more than $2,000 worth of copper piping.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1900 block of Harlem Ave. was near his home Wednesday when he was assaulted by a man who robbed him of property valued at $40.

THEFT: Western District -- A man entered a house in the 1700 block of W. Fayette St. Wednesday and stole property valued at nearly $300 after an argument with the occupant.

THEFT: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who entered a vehicle parked in the 2000 block of W. Fayette St. Wednesday and stole tools valued at $300. Later, police recovered the property.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A handgun valued at more than $200 was stolen from a house in the 2400 block of Druid Hill Ave. between Tuesday and Wednesday.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone entered a construction site in the 1500 block of W. Lexington St. between Dec. 19 and Wednesday and stole property owned by Hamel Commercial Inc., located in the 6500 block of Meadowridge Road, that was valued at $500.

THEFT/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man who attempted to leave the Farm Fresh store in the 1400 block of N. Monroe St. Wednesday without paying for items valued at nearly $12.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered C&D Corp. in the 4400 block of Falls Road through a door window Wednesday. It was not known if any property was taken.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered Hampden Pharmacy and Liquors in the 3700 block of Falls Road through a rear door window between Tuesday and Wednesday and stole more than $100 from a cash register.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A 14-year-old resident of the 1000 block of W. 43rd St. was riding his bike in the 4700 block of Club Road Wednesday when four older youths, one with a handgun, stole the bike.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 5600 block of Govane Ave. of nearly $80 in the 600 block of Benninghaus Road Wednesday.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Property of unknown value was stolen from Jenny's Tailoring in the 4000 block of Clarks Lane by someone who entered by breaking a glass door between Tuesday and Wednesday.

OFFICER ASSAULTED/ARRESTS: Eastern District -- Police arrested a 37-year-old man who reportedly fired a shot at Officer Rick Addy when he and Officer Richard Iglehart spotted him fleeing the scene of a burglary in the 1600 block of N. Bethel St. Wednesday morning. Neither officer was injured. The man was traced to a vacant house in the 1600 block of E. Oliver St., where he and three others were arrested. The man suspected of shooting at Officer Addy was charged with assault with intent to murder, using a handgun in the commission of a felony and burglary. The other three men were charged with breaking into the East Oliver Street home.

SHOOTING: Eastern District -- A 25-year-old resident of the 4400 block of Anntana Ave. was in the 1100 block of Ensor St. about 10 p.m. Wednesday when he was shot in the back of the head by an unknown assailant. The victim was taken by ambulance to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was reported in serious condition.

ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A resident of the 2600 block of Grogan Ave. was in the 1500 block of N. Montford Ave. Wednesday when a gunman robbed him of more than $80.

BURGLARY/ARRESTS: Eastern District -- Police arrested three men who entered a house in the 4000 block of E. Oliver St. Wednesday and stole building supplies valued at $400.

ROBBERY: Eastern District -- An employee of H. C. Walterhoefer Inc. in the 100 block of N. Greene St. was in the 1800 block of N. Montford Ave. Wednesday when a man who implied he had a handgun robbed him of $200.

ROBBERY: Eastern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed Weitzel's Garage in the 2200 block of McElderry St. of less than $100 Wednesday.

ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A resident of the 1000 block of N. Luzerne Ave. was walking in the 2500 block of E. Chase St. Wednesday when three men, one with a handgun, robbed him of his money and the food he was carrying.

BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Someone entered the UpDoIt laundry in the 1100 block of Greenmount Ave. through a storage room door Wednesday and stole 10 boxes of laundry detergent.

BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Property of unknown value was stolen from First Impressions in the 2500 block of E. Oliver St. between Tuesday and Wednesday by someone who entered through a second-story side door.

STOLEN CAR: Eastern District -- A tan two-door 1985 Buick with Maryland tags VCM499 was stolen Wednesday from the 3000 block of E. Hoffman St.

Baltimore County

STOLEN CAR: Towson District -- A 1993 Honda Accord with Maryland tags ABZ432 was stolen from the garage at Towson Town Center in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road Wednesday.
