Pizza restaurant robbed of $100 by masked men

December 30, 1993

Two men wearing ski masks and armed with butcher knives robbed an Annapolis pizza restaurant Tuesday night, getting away with $100 in cash, county police said yesterday.

The men walked into Papa John's Pizza in the 900 block of Bay Ridge Road about 9:30 p.m. and ordered the manager, James Vincent Thomas, 25, and an employee, Jerome Palmer, to lie on the floor.

While one of the men held two knives to Mr. Thomas' neck, the other opened the cash register with a key and stole the money, police said.
