Infant and child CPR to be taught on Jan. 9

An Infant and Child CPR and Safety course has been scheduled for 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 9 at Harbor Hospital Center.

The course teaches the basics of resuscitation for infants and children, including the removal of foreign objects from the windpipe. Instructors are pediatric nurses certified by the American Heart Association.

Participants successfully completing the course will receive an American Heart Association Infant and Child CPR Certification Card.
