BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Someone entered Baltimore Check Cashing in the 900 block of E. Fayette St. through a skylight between Friday and Monday and ransacked an office. It was not immediately known if any property was taken.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Property valued at more than $2,000 was stolen from a house in the 1100 block of S. Chester St. Monday by someone who entered through a side window. Taken was a 13-inch TV set, tools, a gold and opal ring and $25.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Someone entered He Be Ge Beez, a nightclub in the 2300 block of Boston St., through a second-floor window between Saturday and Monday and stole $30 in coins and other property.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- A fax machine, microwave oven, typewriter and other items, all valued at nearly $3,000, were stolen Monday from Ringer Trucking in the 2100 block of Russell St.

THEFT: Southern District -- Tires valued at more than $5,000 were stolen from a trailer owned by Clean Harbors in the 1600 block of Bush St. between Dec. 23 and Monday.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone entered Southern Galvanizing in the 1600 block of Bush St. over the weekend and stole $100 worth of finished screws.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Office equipment valued at more than $3,000 was stolen from a trailer owned by Whiting-Turner Contracting Co. in the 300 block of E. Joppa Road while it was parked in the 700 block of S. Monroe St. between Friday and Monday.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a minimarket in the 1100 block of Cleveland St. Monday and escaped with an undisclosed sum of money.

SHOOTING: Southern District -- A resident of the 800 block of Seagull Ave. was listed in good condition at an area hospital after being shot in the foot Monday during an incident near his home.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 1300 block of Riggs Ave. Monday and stole a bicycle. Police were seeking a woman known to the owner of the bicycle.

THEFT: Western District -- A man was on the second floor of Bon Secours Hospital in the 2000 block of W. Fayette St. Monday when he stole a woman's purse. Later, police found the purse on the third floor and its contents, valued at $51, gone.

THEFT: Western District -- A man attempted to leave McCrory's department store in the 2400 block of Liberty Heights Ave. Monday without paying for items valued at $24. After providing identification, the man was released. Police said a warrant was to be issued for his arrest.

THEFT: Western District -- Property owned by the Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. in the 1000 block of Hillen Road was stolen

Monday while it was left on the ground in the 2000 block of Rayner Ave.

ASSAULT: Western District -- A resident of the 200 block of N. Fulton Ave. was walking near his home Monday when he was attacked by several youths who demanded his money then struck him several times with their fists and a baseball bat.

THEFT: Western District -- Police arrested a man Monday who attempted to leave the Farm Fresh store in the 1400 block of N. Monroe St. without paying for meat products.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered Cadwell Manufacturing in the 2700 block of Pennsylvania Ave. earlier in the year and stole 400 5-gallon containers of cleaning material valued at $8,000. The theft was reported Monday.

ASSAULT: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who stabbed a resident of the 1800 block of Lorman Ave. in the back with a knife during an argument at the victim's home.

ASSAULT: Western District -- Police arrested a woman after a gun she handed a resident of the 1100 block of N. Mount St. at the Mondawmin Mall Monday discharged and struck the victim, causing a minor injury.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 1000 block of W. Fayette St. through a rear door Monday and stole $300.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A VCR, TV set, tools, telephone and clothing, all valued at nearly $2,000, were stolen from a house in the 2400 block of Edmondson Ave. Monday by someone who entered through the front door.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A VCR, leather coat and a cassette tape, all valued at more than $500, were stolen from a house in the 2100 block of W. Fayette St. Monday.

THEFT/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man Monday when he attempted to leave the Farm Fresh store in the 2300 block of Liberty Heights Ave. without paying for two boxes of disposable diapers.

STOLEN CAR: Western District -- A 1986 Chevrolet Nova with Maryland tags VHZ170 was stolen from the 1600 block of Thomas Ave. Saturday.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 1100 block of N. Stricker St. Saturday and stole property valued at $300.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1990 Oldsmobile with Maryland tags SDE187 was stolen from the 6300 block of York Road between Thursday and Saturday.
