Information sought in Aberdeen arson

Anyone with information about an arson incident in the 400 block of Bush Chapel Road in Aberdeen on Dec. 19 should call the state fire marshal's office at (800) 492-7529.

The fire at the three-story wood-frame residence, which was vacant and undergoing renovation, was confined to a porch after the Aberdeen Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call from neighbors called about 8:30 p.m.

No one was injured. Damage was estimated at $500.

Reward up to $1,000 offered in store break-in

Harford County Crime Solvers is offering a reward up to $1,000 for the arrest and indictment of anyone responsible for breaking into the Music Land store, 200 Gateway Drive in Bel Air, Nov. 27 or Nov. 28.

Police said two Ibanez guitars were among the items stolen.

The loss was valued at $1,198.

Car phone, eyeglasses stolen from 5 vehicles

Four women and a man told police that their vehicles, parked in the 1300 block of MacPhail Road in Bel Air Dec. 15 were broken into and that purses, a car phone and two pairs of eyeglasses were stolen.

The combined damage and losses were estimated at $1,676.

Abingdon

* 3200 block of Grindle Court: Theft of radar detector and AM/FM compact disc player from a vehicle Nov. 23. The loss was estimated at $449.

Belcamp

* 4200 block of Chapelgate Road: Breaking and entering of a house at a construction site Dec. 14. Theft of windows. The loss was estimated at $320.

Bel Air

* 2400 block of Churchville Road: Theft of money from a business on Dec. 10. The loss was estimated at $256.

Edgewood

* Broadneck Crossing: Damage to school buses parked near Edgewood High School on Dec. 14. The loss was estimated at $760.

Forest Hill

* 2500 block of Putnam Road: Theft of a 12-foot blue spruce tree from a property on Dec. 15. The loss was estimated at $2,000.

Joppa

* 1000 block of Oak Ave.: Breaking and entering at a business Dec. 16. Theft of a fax machine, telephone, money and car keys. Damage to office furniture, siding, paneling and doors to office trailer. The loss was estimated at $1,297.
