SHOOTINGS: Southern District -- Two men, one from the 2600 block of Spellman Road in Cherry Hill, and one from the 3300 block of Cardenas Ave. in Northeast Baltimore, were standing outside a carry-out in the 600 block of Cherry Hill Road Wednesday night when they argued with three other men. One of the other men pulled out a handgun and shot the 19-year-old Cherry Hill resident in the chest and side. He was in serious condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center. The other victim, also 19, was shot in the buttocks and was taken to Harbor Medical Center. The three men escaped.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone entered a house in the first block of S. Calhoun St. after breaking a window Wednesday and stole an AM-FM radio, a coat and gloves, all valued at more than $300.

SHOOTING: Southern District -- A resident of the 2700 block of Wedgeworth Lane was in the 900 block of Veronica Ave. Wednesday when a man shot him with a 9mm semiautomatic handgun. Police said the victim refused medical treatment.

CUTTING/ARREST: Southern District -- Police arrested a man who cut a resident of the 900 block of N. Stricker St. in the face with a razor in the 1200 block of W. Pratt St. Wednesday.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A 41-year-old resident of the 900 block of S. Clinton St. was walking near her home Wednesday and carrying a cassette deck when two youths, one with a handgun, robbed her of the property, valued at $200.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- More than a dozen leather handbags and $700 were stolen from Barr Gann's consignment shop in the 800 block of E. Fayette St. by someone who entered by breaking a front window. Total value of the property was more than $3,000.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Someone entered a house in the 200 block of N. Streeper St. through a side door Wednesday and stole property valued at more than $2,400.
