More than 300 gymnasts from the Mid-Atlantic region attended last weekend's Christmas in Annapolis Gymnastics Meet at Maryland Gymnastics in Millersville, which serves as home to the Docksiders.

In the Level 8 girls competition, Pam Bradley of Columbia swept the all-around competition for the Docksiders with a cumulative NTC score of 34.80. Bradley took first on beam (9.05), first on floor (8.9), first on bars (8.55) and first on vault (8.3).

Krista Gole of Severna Park took first in the Level 10 all-around competition with a score of 35.6. She took first on vault (9.5), third on bars (8.35), first on beam (8.9) and first on floor (9.4).

Amy Langendorf of Gambrills, competing in the 15-and-over age group of Level 10, took first on vault (9.05), second on beam (8.35) and first on floor (9.25).

Becky Singleton of Millersville was second on vault (8.9), first on bars (8.7) and third in the all-around with 34.35.

In the 15-and-over bracket of the Level 9 competition, Amy Walton of Ellicott City took first in the all-around with a winning total of 34.20. Walton took third on vault (8.65), second on bars (8.15), first on beam (8.35) and first on floor (9.05).

Sarah Dolan of Ellicott City took first on floor (9.05), fourth on bars (8.2) and fourth in the all-around with 33.65.

Susan Sperduto of Glen Burnie took first on floor in the 12-14 division of Level 9. The Docksiders' Level 9 team took third place

in the meet.

Ice hockey

Two Ukranian youth hockey teams will add a world-class touch to the annual Chesapeake Bay Chiefs Hockey Club's Invitational Christmas Tournament.

Each of the two teams -- Ldinka Kiev and Sokol Kiev -- will field 15 players in the 11- and 12-year-old divisions. The Ldinka team will play in an exhibition game against the Chiefs at noon Sunday at the Piney Orchard Ice Rink in Odenton.

The Sokol team will play in three exhibition games during its stay, including its opener against the Chiefs "B" pee wee team at 8:45 a.m. Sunday at Piney Orchard.
