Navy women fall in tourney final

Navy's Yolanda Ray led all scorers with 23 points and 10 rebounds, but Navy (2-5) fell short, 80-71, to visiting Canisius (3-1) in the second annual Navy Classic final yesterday at Alumni Hall.

In the consolation game, Western Carolina edged St. Francis (N.Y.), 79-75.

Ray was named to the all-tournament team after scoring 32 points over the two days. Joining Ray on the all-tournament team was Jenna Hausvik, who had 13 points and seven rebounds.
