STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- Someone stole a car with Maryland tags ZYR884 parked in the 800 block of E. 41st St. Sunday while the vehicle's engine was running. The make of the car was not available, and police said its owner faced being ticketed for leaving a car unattended while the engine was running.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1989 Chevrolet with Maryland tags ARM321 was stolen Saturday or Sunday from the 2500 block of W. Cold Spring Lane.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered a car parked in the 600 block of Melville Ave. Saturday or Sunday and stole property valued at more than $1,000.

ASSAULT: Northern District -- Police were seeking a man who entered a house in the 4100 block of Yellow Wood Ave. Sunday night and fired several rounds from a .357 Magnum handgun, nearly hitting several people. The incident was the result of an argument the people in the house had earlier with a woman who left and returned with the gunman.

THEFT: Northern District -- A car phone valued at more than $400 was stolen from a 1993 Lincoln Town Car while it was parked in the 2300 block of Pennyroyal Terrace over the weekend.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A resident of the 2700 block of Yarnall Ave. was in the 3500 block of S. Hanover St. Sunday when he was assaulted by two men who robbed him of $80.

STABBING/ARREST: Southern District -- Police arrested an 18-year-old and charged him with assault by stabbing a resident the 100 block of Pineview Ave. Saturday during an altercation near the suspect's home in the 2000 block of Wilkens Ave. The victim was listed in serious condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Charged and being held in lieu of $50,000 bail was William Metcalf.

THEFT: Southern District -- Someone entered a 1979 Ford van while it was parked in the 1400 block of W. Pratt St. over the weekend and stole tools valued at more than $1,000.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1400 block of Presstman St. was in the 1300 block of N. Carey St. Saturday when he was robbed of a small sum by a gunman. Later, police arrested a suspect.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Several men, one with a handgun, assaulted and robbed a resident of the 1000 block of N. Vine St. of nearly $700 in cash and property in the 1000 block of W. Fayette St. Sunday.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Several men assaulted a resident of the 1100 block of N. Dukeland St. was robbed him of $50 in the 2500 block of W. Lafayette Ave. Sunday.

ASSAULT: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who stabbed a resident of the 1400 block of N. Fremont Ave. several times with a knife during an incident Sunday in the 700 block of N. Gilmor St. The victim was listed in good condition at a hospital.

ROBBERY: Western District -- After leaving a tavern in the 1700 block of W. North Ave. Sunday, a resident of the 1500 block of N. Bentalou St. was knocked to the pavement by a man who robbed him of more than $100.

THEFT/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man who attempted to leave the Farm Fresh store in the 2300 block of Liberty Heights Ave. Sunday without paying for property valued at nearly $20.

Baltimore County

ROBBERY:Woodlawn District -- Police were seeking three men who robbed the Popeye's fast-food outlet in the 6400 block Baltimore National Pike of an undisclosed sum early Sunday . As the manager was about to open shortly after 8 a.m., he was accosted by three men who forced him inside and into the office. There, the manager opened the safe and gave the men money. Before the men fled, they handcuffed the manager to a drain pipe. Other employees arriving at work found the uninjured manager and called the police.
