Deale man found dead in home

December 19, 1993|By Staff report

DEALE -- A 71-year-old man was found dead in his southern Anne Arundel County home yesterday, and police said they were treating the death as suspicious because both the man's car and his roommate were missing.

Edward Joseph Seiler Sr. of the 6000 block of First Ave., Deale, was found dead at noon by police, who were called by a neighbor who reported that Mr. Seiler had not been seen since Thursday.

Police said the body had no apparent injuries. Authorities said that Mr. Seiler's 1984 Dodge Aires was missing and that his roommate, Quinten DeWitt Blackwell, had not been seen since Thursday.

The four-door car, with Maryland license plate PGH-539, was described as light blue with a set of steer horns as a hood ornament.
