BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone entered a house in the 4100 block of Dudley Ave. after breaking a basement window Wednesday and stole a VCR, TV, camera, microwave oven and a cam-corder, all valued at nerly $2,000.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Stereo equipment valued at $400 was stolen from a home in the 3500 block of Ailsa Ave. between Tuesday and Wednesday by someone who entered through an unlocked door.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A VCR and several movie tapes, all valued at nearly $300, were stolen from an apartment in the 4900 block of Gunther Ave. Wednesday by someone who entered through a bedroom window.

ROBBERY/SHOOTING: Southeastern District -- A gunman robbed the Sands Bar in the first block of S. Exeter St. Tuesday night of an undisclosed sum of money after shooting the bartender. The gunman entered the bar at 11 p.m. and ordered the bartender to give him money from the cash register. When the bartender refused, the gunman shot him in the shoulder and removed money from the cash register. The bartender, a resident of the 5800 block of Bland Ave. in Pimlico, was taken to an area hospital. His condition was not available.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 100 block of N. East Ave. was robbed of $35 by two men n the 400 block of S. Bond St. Tuesday.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Somone entered the Fraternal Order of Eagles in the 400 block of S. Conkling St. through a rear door between Tuesday and Wednesday and stole $700 from a safe.

Baltimore County

STAND-OFF: ESSEX District -- Police arrested a man Wednesday night after he threatnened to shoot himself outside his ex-girlfriend's home following a domestic situation. Police said the man, who was later taken to an area hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, was standing outside the woman's apartment in the first block of Rock Creek Court shortly after 9 p.m. and holding a rifle at his head. Police distracted the man and wrestled him to the ground without injury. The woman called the police when the man attempted to force his way into her apartment.
