Planning panel loses its 3rd member in 2 months

December 16, 1993

Michael Willinger has become the third member of the Sykesville Planning Commission to resign in the past two months.

Mr. Willinger, who has served on the seven-member volunteer commission for about two years, cited pressures from his job in Baltimore.

"It is always good to participate in local government," Mr. Willinger said. "Maybe, in about a year, I can get back to working for the town."

Job concerns led Dennis Karr, the commission chairman, to resign this month. In November, Vincent DiGiovanni moved out of town and resigned.
