Deborah E. Mack opens Ellicott law office

Attorney Deborah E. Mack has opened a law office at 3716 Court Place, Suite 201, in Ellicott City. Ms. Mack will practice general law, including consumer bankruptcy, domestic wills and driving while intoxicated cases.

She previously worked for the Office of General Counsel at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Paragon Services hires consultant

Gregory M. Marmen has been hired by Paragon Computer Services in Ellicott City as a systems consultant.

He will be responsible for providing consulting services to mid-sized companies in the real estate, health care and financial services industries in the Baltimore region.

Turf Valley names new assistant director

Karen N. Lorenz of Columbia has been appointed assistant director of marketing at Turf Valley Hotel and Country Club.

Ms. Lorenz was an account executive for Arthur J. Schultz & Company, a Washington-based public relations and marketing firm.

Calp named director by AlliedSignal

Donald L. Calp of Columbia has been named director of the Intelligent Vehicle Highway Systems for Columbia-based AlliedSignal Technical Services.

He will be responsible for the company's San Antonio, Texas, advanced traffic management system and for planned growth in this area.
