December 13, 1993

A woman told police that an unidentified man cut up her shoes while she was watching a movie in a Glen Burnie theater Tuesday.

According to the police report, Carol Henning, of the 200 block of Allwood Drive in Glen Burnie, was in a theater in the 7400 block of B&A Boulevard at 6:50 p.m. and had taken off her shoes.

She noticed a man in front of her who would sit unreasonably close to people and kept moving around. Sometime during the movie, the man had crawled under the rows of seats, cut up her shoes and put them back, the police report said.

She noticed the shoes were damaged when she got up to leave the theater. She told police she did not get a good look at the man.

Another witness told police the man appeared to be in his late 20s or early 30s.
