Wojciechowski's 38 lead Gibbons

Steve Wojciechowski scored 38 points, hitting 23 of 29 free throws, to lead No. 10 Cardinal Gibbons (3-1) to a 73-64 victory over visiting Bishop McNamara (2-2) in a non-league game last night.

Wojciechowski, who has signed with Duke, added four assists and five rebounds.

Jerard Rucker had 15 points for Gibbons.

Willie Bullock led Bishop McNamara with 22 points.

* Patapsco 83, Parkville 71: Tim Dodge scored a game-high 21 and Charles Greenfelder added 17, leading host Patapsco (1-1, 1-1) over Parkville in a Baltimore County 3A-4A League game.

Aaron Burelson had 15 points for Patapsco, which led 48-21 at halftime. David Pena and Keith Foster had 19 and 14, respectively, for Parkville.

* Oakland Mills 70, Linganore 51: Shawn Hill scored 21 points and pulled down nine rebounds, leading host Oakland Mills (1-1) past Linganore (0-1) in a non-league game.

Brian Ford added 18 for Oakland Mills.

* Liberty 46, Towson 37: Jake Gibson scored 14 points and Chris Peay added 12, lifting visiting Liberty over Towson (0-1) in a non-league game.

Greg Gramiccioni led Towson with 12.

* Loch Raven 71, Boys' Latin 54: Dane Elterman scored a game-high 32 points to lead Loch Raven past visiting Boys' Latin.

* Eastern Tech 75, Dulaney 54: Junior Keith Allen led all scorers with 28 points, as Eastern Tech (1-0) defeated Dulaney. Wardel Selby added 13.

* Perry Hall 74, Franklin 70: Senior captains Mark Franklin and Matt Banks scored 17 each to lead Perry Hall. Banks had 14 rebounds.

* Owings Mills 70, Park 54: Senior captains Rodney Jones and Andy Sachs had 21 points each to lead the Eagles past Park. Jones had 11 rebounds. Sachs had nine.

* Fallston 76, John Carroll 53: Fallston used a 10-0 second-quarter run to pull away from host John Carroll (0-2) and earn a season-opening victory.

Senior Ephriam Dorsey (10 second-quarter points) and junior Kernan Kelly (12 third-quarter points) had 18 and 29 points, respectively, for the Cougars.

* St. Paul's 79, Mount Carmel 46: Chris Beech scored 11 to lead host St. Paul's (3-1) past Mount Carmel (0-1). Bryan Reese

added 10 for the Crusaders.

* Towson Catholic 52, Forest Park 51: Towson Catholic's Konata Springer scored 17 to lead the Owls (1-0) past visiting Forest Park (0-1). Kevin Morrison led Forest Park with 17. The Foresters missed a 40-footer at the buzzer.

* Atholton 88, South Carroll 86: Brian Benden scored a game-high 22 and Tony Stewart added 15, as host and No. 14 Atholton (1-0) defeated South Carroll (0-1).

* Edgewood 69, Howard 48: Junior forward Eric Briggs scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the No. 13 Rams (1-0) over the Lions (0-1).
