Glen Ridge Road couple arrested on drugs charges

County police called to a Glen Burnie apartment to end a fight early Saturday morning arrested two people on drug charges instead.

Police said yesterday they arrived at an apartment building in the first block of Glen Ridge Road shortly after 2:40 a.m. They said they did not find the fight, but a strong odor of PCP from one of the apartments. When the officers knocked on the door, a man let them inside, the police report said.

Police found a black canister on top of the refrigerator containing suspected PCP, rolling papers and matches and a glass jar containing suspected PCP in the freezer, an officer said.

Michael Lee Hamilton and Joanna Elizabeth Carter, both 31, who live in the apartment, were taken to Northern District station to be charged.
