Pahl's Crossing

1. Keystone Homes, a Harford County builder, held a grand opening Wednesday at Pahl's Crossing in Pikesville, the company's first venture in Baltimore County.

Models of three of the five brick-front townhomes offered by Keystone are now open.

The lowest-priced home is the Charles, which comes with two or three bedrooms, one full bath, an eat-in kitchen, a living/dining room and an unfinished basement for $92,900.

The Potomac is a 1,280-square-foot home with two or three bedrooms, and dual-entry bath with oval soaking tub and double vanity. It can be expanded to 2,400 square feet. n goes for $96,900.

The model has gas heat, a 19-by-12-foot kitchen with work island, six-panel interior doors and a daylight basement entry, smoke detector and automatic sprinkler system.

The Potomac can be expanded to 2,400 square feet by finishing the regular basement and adding the optional 20-by-12-foot recreation room addition on the first level and in the basement.

The third model is the 1,200-square-foot Frederic. The house comes standard with three bedrooms, one full bath, brick front, full unfinished basement, living/dining area and eat-in kitchen for $93,900.

2. The Strutt Group is taking the stair-climbing out of condominium living at Perry Brook at Silver Ridge in Baltimore County, where the company is building four-story, elevator buildings.

The condominiums have three bedrooms, two baths, eat-in kitchens, a smoke detector and sprinkler system, a living/dining area, an electric heat pump, a laundry room and an indoor storage area.

Other features include a secured entrance system, an 18-by-7-foot deck or patio, a laundry room and a shower with sliding glass door in the master bath.

Perry Brook is in a wooded area within walking distance of shopping and entertainment.

3. Questar Homes Inc. recently opened four townhome

models at the planned community of Arborview in Bel Air in Harford County. They range in size from the Azimuth, which is 1,600 square feet, to the Calibre, which is 2,400.

With a base price of $83,900, the Azimuth has two bedrooms, one full bath, a living/dining room combination, an eat-in kitchen with breakfast bar, and an unfinished basement.

The Calibre is a two-bedroom home that can be expanded to fourbedrooms.

A vaulted ceiling in the living/dining area, an eat-in kitchen with breakfast bar and one full bath are standard features.

All homes come with brick fronts and double-pane windows.

Models are open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Take I-95 North to Riverside, Exit 80 East (Route 543), to a right on Church Creek Road and a right on Foxglove Court to models on right.

Townhome features include three bedrooms, one full and one half bath, an eat-in kitchen, a living/dining room combination, six-panel interior doors and a 19-by-18-foot lower level clubroom with a rough-in for a powder room.

The sales center is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Take I-795 to Franklin Boulevard. Go east, cross Reisterstown Road and follow signs to sales center on right.
