DRUG ARRESTS: Western District -- Police raided a house in the 1300 block of W. Lanvale St. Thursday, arrested five men and recovered a large quantity of cocaine and marijuana. The men were being held at the station pending drug charges.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 2800 block of W. Lafayette Ave. was in the 2800 block of Prospect St. Wednesday when a man he knows told him it was his birthday and that he wanted some money. Officer John Rybarczyk said when the victim gave him $5, the man threatened the victim and demanded more money. The victim gave up another $15, and the robber fled.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 5400 block of Old Court Road in Baltimore County was walking in the 1300 block of W. North Ave. Wednesday when several youths robbed him of $20.

PURSE SNATCH: Western District -- A resident of the 1700 block of Thomas Ave. was in the 2500 block of Warwick Ave. Thursday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, valued at nearly $500.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 2600 block of W. Lafayette Ave. Wednesday and stole a VCR and a 26-inch bike, all valued at $600.

SCHOOL BURGLARY: Western District -- Two 2-way radios valued at more than $700 were stolen from Calverton Junior High School in the 1100 block of Whitmore Ave. Wednesday or Thursday.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 900 block of N. Gilmor St. Wednesday or Thursday and stole more than $300 from under a mattress.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a doctor's office Thursday of cash and property worth over $100. The office is in the 3700 block of Liberty Heights Ave.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two gunmen forced their way into a house in the 4000 block of Rogers Ave. Thursday and robbed the occupant of $400.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 4000 block of W. Belvedere Ave. was in the 5100 block of Arbutus Ave. Thursday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at nearly $400.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 900 block of E. 41st St. was in the 3200 block of St. Paul St. Thursday when a man asked him for change. When the victim reached into his pocket, the man pulled out a gun and robbed him of $140.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A 14-year-old resident of the 300 block of E. Lorraine Ave. was in the 2200 block of N. Howard St. Wednesday when an older youth robbed him of a gold watch, books and tennis shoes, all valued at $200.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Four men, two of them with guns, robbed Quantum Paging in the 3200 block of St. Paul St. of several pagers and cash Thursday.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A gray 1990 Mazda with Maryland tags WLB270 was stolen Wednesday from the 4500 block of Schenley Road.

Baltimore County

ROBBERY: Towson District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed the Burger King fast-food outlet in the 100 block of E. Joppa Road of more than $100 Thursday evening.

ROBBERY: Towson District -- A man who implied he had a weapon robbed Artistic Dance Fashions behind Dulaney Valley Plaza in the 1300 block of Goucher Blvd. of more than $100 yesterday and drove away in a car with Maryland tags AVN226.

BURGLARY: North Point District -- A bike valued at nearly $200 was stolen from a house in the 6900 block of Sollers Point Road Wednesday or Thursday.

BURGLARY: North Point District -- Someone entered a house in the first block of Admiral Blvd. through a rear Thursday and stole a TV and a VCR, all valued at $1,000.

THEFT: Parkville District -- Someone entered an apartment at Dunfield Apartments in the first block of Rosecrans Place Wednesday and stole more than $900.
