BURGLARY: Southern District -- Property valued at $1,450 was stolen from a house in the 800 block of Jack St. Tuesday.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 5400 block of Price Ave. was about to enter her home Wednesday when a man robbed her of cash and property, all valued at $150, at knifepoint.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 1700 block of Hollins St. of $2 near the victim's home Tuesday.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A gunman robbed the Food King market in the 700 block of Washington Blvd. of an undisclosed sum Wednesday.

ROBBERY/CUTTING: Southern District -- A resident of the 900 block of Leadenhall St. was robbed of a gold chain valued at $220 by two men in the 100 block of E. Ostend St. One of the men cut the victim on the hand with a knife.

STABBING: Western District -- A resident of the first block of N. Catherine St. was preparing to leave his home Tuesday night following an argument with his wife when the woman stabbed him in the back with a knife. The man was taken to Bon Secours Hospital for treatment. ROBBERY: Western District -- Police were seeking three men, one with a handgun, who entered an apartment in the 1600 block of Spray Court Tuesday and robbed the occupant of clothing valued at more than $500.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 2700 block of Penhurst Ave. Tuesday or Wednesday and stole a VCR, toaster oven, compact disc player and a stereo amplifier, worth nearly $700.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A deliveryman for Triple C Wholesalers in the 2700 block of Loch Raven Blvd. was in the 1800 block of Edmondson Ave. Wednesday when a gunman robbed him of over $100.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 3400 block of Fairview Ave. through a patio door Tuesday or Wednesday and stole property valued at nearly $900.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Property valued at $20 was stolen from a house in the 4300 block of Park Heights Ave. Wednesday by someone who entered with a key.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 4400 block of Belvieu Ave. was walking in the 4300 block of Hayward Ave. Wednesday when a man stole her purse containing a small sum.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A gunman robbed an out-of-town resident of cash and property, all valued at more than $1,000, in the 6900 block of Reisterstown Road Wednesday night.

ARSON: Northwestern District -- A deliberately set fire caused at least $5,000 damage to a house in the 3300 block of Garrison Blvd. Wednesday night. No injuries were reported.

Baltimore County

OFFICERS ASSAULTED: Wilkens District -- Two Howard County sheriff's deputies were slightly injured Tuesday when a man they were about to arrest for several burglaries struck them with his car as they approached the vehicle in the 600 block of Frederick Road near the Howard County line. Sought was Lemmert Miller Cousins Jr., 26, of no permanent address. Officer Timothy Oakes said one of the deputies fired a shot at the driver as the car, a 1984 Subaru, sped away, but missed. In the car at the time of the incident was the suspect's girlfriend and her two young children. Besides the burglary warrants, Officer Oakes said, the suspect also has been charged with assault with intent to murder the deputies.

ROBBERY: Essex District -- A gunman robbed Edgewater Liquors in the 100 block of Orville Road of an undisclosed sum Wednesday. An armed employee chased the man before losing him around Westway Road.

ROBBERY: Wilkens District -- A resident of the 1200 block of Ten Oaks Road was standing on her porch Wednesday when she was robbed of her purse by a man who threatened to shoot her. No weapon was displayed.
